BLOG

So this is the first blog post. For a while, namely until I get comments up and running on this site along with advertising enough that I actually get some readers I'll be posting these blogs on both Facebook and...well...this site. So pick your poison and eat it too.
So I ordered 9 things from Amazon a couple of days ago, and rather quickly they've been rushing in, which brings me a lot of joy. What exactly did I order? Well thanks for asking (you didn't, I know), I ordered:
- Beastie Boys - Paul's Boutique (great album, must be listened all the way through at once, it starts off slow but by the last track you'll be in love)
- Beastie Boys - Ill Communication (really good as well, kinda has a grimey feel all the way through which I dig)
- Blur - Leisure (pretty solid, not as good as their latest efforts but still nice, catchy songs)
- Blur - Modern Life is Rubbish (has yet to come so I can't really comment :/)
- Blur - Think Tank (brilliant album by nearly any definition)
- Nine Inch Nails - The Downward Spiral (has yet to come, I expect to listen to it in one sitting though)
- Nine Inch Nails - The Fragile (hasn't come yet but I remember loving the pirated copy I had before it got hacked up pretty badly)
- Radiohead - The Bends (not as brilliant as the rest of their albums [with the exception of Pablo Honey, I never really liked that album] but thats like saying that Sgt. Pepper wasn't as good as the rest of the Beatles' catalog. Yes I did just compare Radiohead to the Beatles. No I have no regrets.)
- Virtua Fighter 5 (Xbox 360) (I was only able to fudge around for 25 or 30 minutes before my parents kicked me out of the living room but already I was having a lot of fun. I can't wait to start getting deep into Kage's moves)
But yeah, pretty sweet. To anyone reading this: If you play Virtua Fighter 5 and would like a crappily-skilled sparring mate, then e-mail me your gamertag at Samuel.Day (at) gmail.com, or alternatively, send me a friend request. My gamertag is "The Vagrance".
